Product Designer, Be Uninterrupted
2024
I collaborated with a team of three to develop new features for a web application for an early-stage startup supporting women facing life interruptions like job loss or maternity leave. I created "Ask Anna," a desktop chatbot that directs users to relevant resources, and designed wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma for the engineering team. Working cross-functionally with marketing and software engineers, I gathered feedback to refine our concepts, receiving positive feedback from C-Suite leadership on the design and presentation materials.
Product Design Fellow, Springboard
2023-2024
I completed over 700 hours of hands-on User Experience Design training, producing four comprehensive case studies that covered the entire design process from ideation to working prototypes. Using Figma, I created wireframes and prototypes for Chromix, a media app focused on increasing paid subscriptions. I conducted user experience research with focus groups of 3-5 participants per round and managed projects using an agile development framework.
Technical Sourcer, Meta
2022-2023
I collaborated cross-functionally with recruiters, recruiting coordinators, and internal stakeholders to create a seamless candidate experience. I proactively built talent pipelines through referral generation, online sourcing, events, and sourcing campaigns using diverse Boolean searches. By screening resumes and conducting phone interviews for Machine Learning, Infrastructure, and Android candidates, I achieved a 99% candidate satisfaction rate. Additionally, I regularly tracked and shared pipeline activity and metrics with internal stakeholders to demonstrate sourcing progress.
Technical Sourcer, The Knot Worldwide
2022-2023
I collaborated with recruiters and hiring managers to identify specific hiring needs across Product, Design, Engineering, and Data through detailed intake meetings. I screened resumes, scheduled interviews, and tracked pipeline activity, sharing metrics with internal stakeholders. I improved the recruiting process by creating an internal job tracker, which reduced the time to fill positions. Additionally, I grew the Black@TKWW Employee Resource Group by organizing events and workshops and contributed to the DEI council to promote equitable practices company-wide.
